RUVAXD??  Lamp

This lamp is a great statement piece for your office desk no matter which side of the vaccination issue you are on. If you are aligned with the Anti-Vax movement, you can show the world you’re not intimidated by the prospect of a communicable diseases like polio and the crippling effects it can wreak on your nervous system. But, if you’re a believer in the miracle of modern vaccines, you can show your guests a now rare relic from a time when many were crippled by a disease that left them unable to stand without mechanical braces or breathe without an “Iron Lung”. Or, if you just like really weird shit, this lamp is for you!!

“RUVAXD?? Lamp” was constructed using an antique pediatric polio brace mounted on a cast iron base. It has been wired with a programmable fixture that allows it to function as a desk or table lamp or a mood lamp in the multi-colored mode. It can be adjusted into a fully upright position like a torchière or in the angled configuration of a desk lamp. The measurements above are in the upright position. The measurements for the desk lamp position are 20"H x 10"W x 20"D.
